Hello Everyone

Of course, I was denied my initial application for Social security. I appealed, and now after a 19 month wait my hearing is set for tomorrow morning. I'm getting nervous, been in the bathroom most of the day, lol.

I do have my doctors backing, have 2 notes from him. 1 recent, 1 from a yr ago. Colonoscopy photos, upper G.I report etc.

My Question for those that been through it.

What was the hearing like?

how long does it last?

I'm bringing the 2 people that know me best as witnesses, my wife + my mom. I decided against getting a lawyer. I feel that I have a good case, with all my medical records + doctor support as proof.

Any advice/ insight in the the hearing process would be a great help to calm me down.

I waited 3 years for my hearing, I to was very nervous. I had a lawyer , and backing by my dr. of 14 years. I think I was actually in with the judge for the total of 10 min. they also have some person that is impartial I don't remember who there called but he was the one that said there was no jobs out there that I could do. I mean how can they expect you to work if your in the bathroom all the time. Its really not that bad, I guess a lot of it is all the waiting they make you do gets you all the more nervous. Justt tell the truth to the judge and all will be okay . Best of luck cmn
