How many of us were diagnosed with crohn's / colitis in childhood

I was diagnosed with UC at 16. I had a similar experience to Kriss - everyone thought I was anorexic although I wasn't. I had an upper GI and colonoscopy and was diagnosed with UC (my current GI doc thinks that it was probably Crohn's all along).

Before 16, I always had a sensitive stomach. I was diagnosed with a milk protein after they couldn't figure out what food allergy I had (since talking away dairy didn't really make me feel better).

I babysat for a kid who was diagnosed w/CD at age 9.

My younger brother was diagnosed w/CD at age 12.
