Hi Kitti
Mint leaves and pomegranate juice are the best healers in case of anaemics. Can you believe, I used to dip down my Hb to 7.5, and touch wood never had to get on transfusion so far. Can you believe I used to have BMs 35 times a day for over 15 years. Still I would maintain my Hb count. In worst times I would also have Folvit or Fefol - 3 times a day. Even during my 1st stage surgery, which was
open, and not laproscopy, I did not require blood transfusion.
One most important thing about
pomegranate juice is that you need to take fresh juice. Instead of gulping it in one stroke, go slow, have it with teaspoon after a gap of few seconds. The reason being, it is very rich in its ingredients and has to be taken slowly.
Have only half a glass of pomegranate juice, twice a day.
Another very economical remedy is to have fresh juice of red carrots, salad leaves (beat roots) and ginger. It would help you in maintaining and getting back your Hb count.
