Confused.

Hello, and I am sorry to bother you guys about this, but I feel its better to ask then just wonder about this.

First a little about me, I am a 19 year old girl from Norway, who's wondering a bit about Crohn's Disease for many reasons, I've been reading about a bit, mostly because my dad was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease a couple of years back which was pretty hard on me.

I was wondering if Crohn's Disease can be inherited through genes, and if so, how likely is it?
Secondly, I actually stumbled upon this forum because I've been chipping off bits and pieces of some of my teeth for apparently no reason at all lately, and I google'd it.. Guess which forum popped up first on google, and seing my dad had CD, It kind of struck home, I might just be highly paranoid here but it freaked me out.

Other things which has bothered me lately, well.. for a while.. is stomach pains, or something around that area.. sometimes its almost unbearable to deal with and I just feel like lying down on the floor curled up in a little ball crying my eyes out.. or screaming.
and I don't know if this is relevant, but I also suffer with alot of random joint pains, mostly my knees and my wrists.

Well, I hope this didn't seem to silly, but I just kind of want to know if this is something worth going to the doctor with, or if I should just let it go as a random fit of paranoia with a side of concern for my dad.

To answer your question about CD being inherited... Yes im an example of it. I was just recently diagnosed. My mother has had CD since she was 18. & yes your symptoms seem like you have CD.... i would deffinitely get that checked out especially since your father has it.... if you have any questions not that id be able to help im new to this... but i could be a friend haha =D
