rash on index fingers

Hi all I know been a while,

IDk if any of you have this issue but at the base of my index fingers (both hands) i get these rash like bumbs that are a lil scaley and itch like crazy.  I dont wear rings on these fingers so I cant imagine it is contact dermatitis.  Does any one else have this issue?  It is the lower part of both on the side near my thumb.

When I was in my teens and twenties I had a similar rash on my fingers. It was all little bubbles and itched like crazy. Seemed to be due to my compromised immune system. I took selenium and vit e and it subsided. Have you seen a dermatologist?

No i have not seen a dermatolist since i was in my teens and on pred at the time. This had not happened to my fingers in a while. I take a prenatal vitamin per my GI's suggestion to obtain more vitamins etc. seemed i use to get it on my left hand only now it is on both and in the same location both fingers. I was reading about diff skin conditions with crohns and wondered if it had to do with the CD or something else

I have got the same rash, itching like crazy, small, look like tiny watery bubbles. Sometimes they are on the lowest part on my fingers, (always inside the hands), and sometimes in the palm of my hands. They come and go. Have no idea what this is.

I have had this condition since I was a little kid. Little bubbles that itch then pop. My skin peals off when they open. I used to have it very bad on my hands and feet. I also had it on the back side of my ears as a small child. I have been to tons of dermitologists and none have fixed it. I have been put on both antibiots ang steriod cream. It got really bad when I was about 12. My docs had me treat the ares with peroxide then a triple antiboitic cream and bandades. I used to get it on the tips of my fingers near my nails and all over my feet. In the last few years it has only affected the base of my fingers and comes and goes. (kinda like crohn's =) It is interesting other crohnies have this problem as well.

Yes, this is interesting. I have never asked a doctor what this could be, mine also come and go. tall girl, when you writes that you have had it under my feet, I have to tell you that I also have something weird under my feet: now and then I get all red under my feet, it itches A LOT, and it burns, and my feet get swollen and red, it always starts under the foot sole, and then the red, burning and swelling goes over the foot and on the top of it, this lasts for some days, and then I get a big watery bubble and the skin peals off and I have to get rid of a lot of loose skin that is covering my entire foot sole. Is this similiar to your feet issues? :-)...

It sounds like a form of eczema. I've been getting small itchy blisters on my finger and palms for years. When I was a kid I would get it on the soles of my feet.

Yeah i had this on both hands and feet was giving antibotic they went away, now 3/4 months later it come back again agghhh!!
like we have enough things to deal with. x
