Hi everyone,'

        I have had horrible digestive problems for 6 years, but now my symptoms have drastically changed and I am wondering if this could be crohns or some type of inflamatory bowel disease.  I don't have constant diarreah (maybe once in a while), but I have horrid burning watery poop everytime I use the bathroom - it is especially worse if I eat fruit like bananas.  And I have horrid cramping and burning pain in my lower abdomen almost everyday.   I also have horrible smelly gas almost everyday.  It is especially bad if I eat sugar or yogurt (plain yogurt is the worst) but I dont eat much of that anymore, except I eat a LOT of fruit, which I love fruit.  I also have gastroparesis.  I have never had this horrible burning bowel movements everyday before, it has been like this for about a month now and it hurts like hell.  I take probiotics and digestive enzymes everyday.  Could this been crohns?  It is not just a light case of irritable bowel syndrone I mean Im really suffering and it is chronic...thank you for your replies if anyone can help me Id greatly appreciate it.

Gabby, I strongly suggest that you at least get a pill camera done. Because an endoscope and a colonscopy can miss about 18 feet of your instestines. If you have had a pill camera done previously if it has been more then six months, get it done again. Are you bleeding any? Gastroparesis, acid poops, and really bad heartburn are normal with crohns.

P.S. I would think about getting checked for H.P. or a c-diff infection.

Hello Gabby,
You definitely need to see a dr. I would ask to have a full blood screen as well to check for possible auto-immune disease such as celiac or crohns.

Thank you everyone for your replies, I will def try to get that pill cam done, is it expensive?  Im supposed to have another endoscopy done soon so money is really tight right now, my insurance kinda sucks so Im a bit in a bind.  God I pray its not crohns i def have enough on my plate without adding that too.

I would think that they might let you do a pill cam instead of a endo
