Diagnosis given after steriod injection?

How did you get this diagnosis, are there any of you out there who received this diagnosis after getting any kind of corticosteriod injection?

I was dx in 1982 after emergent surgery. I honestly don't think they even had a clear idea of what they might find. But I came out of surgery minus several inches of bowel and terminal ileum. But I've had symptoms all my life (that I can remember).

What issues were you having that led to the injection?

If you are asking if the cortisone shot caused your Crohns, I doubt it. We use steroids to treat our Crohns, so I don't see a steroid shot as causing it. I was diagnosed by c-scope and other tests within 3 weeks of my symptoms starting.

Arthritis originally went for a facet injection they ended up giving me a caudial epidural injection they changed there mind at the last minute..
