I recently saw this:
Best & Worst foods for Crohn's
organizedwisdom.com/Slideshow:Best_and_Worst_Foods_for_Crohn%27s_DiseaseHere's a synopsis of the slides:
best foods: rice, bananas, yogurt, soy products, chicken, fish oil, honey (raw), pizza (cheese), dairy products (for those not lactose intolerant), water, olive oil, coconut oil
worst foods: alcohol, butter, veg oils, mayo, margarine, carbonated beverages, caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate), fatty & fried foods, high fiber foods (nuts, seeds, corn, popcorn, whole grains, bran, some fruits & vegs), gas-producing foods (lentils, beans, legumes, cabbage, broccoli, onions), raw vegs (except usually for dark leafy vegs), raw fruits (often high in sugars/fiber), red meat, pork, spicy foods
I'm finding it to be pretty true in my case. Sugary foods seem to produce more gas. Fatty & fried foods aren't that agreeable. I don't seem to have a problem with spicy foods though. And as for giving up caffeine, well that's just crazy talk!
