Cramping Urges

I keep having these painful urges to have  BM and when I go to do the business nothing happens.  My stomach has been off the wall gassy in the morning so as soon as I wake up I have to have a BM.  Then I usually go about 3-4 more times over a period of 2 hours.  But the last 3 weeks I have been have these additional urges (after already having had several BMs) to go and yet there is nothing there but some bloody mucus and or a tiny bit of D.  This goes on for several hours.  The blood and mucus has been ongiong for the past few months and I feel like my rectum is swollen.  According to my Dr. who did a colonoscopy during my last complaint of pain I have internal hemmroids.  But would that cause ongoing pain for weeks on end and these constant urges?  I am just so confused about this and can not find anyway to get relief.  I took pamine 2 weeks ago to try and stop this but it make me so much worse.  Any thoughts or advice would be greatly welcome.

I also have had these exact symptoms, getting progressively worse and worse since February... Cimzia has not stopped it.

I did/do not have internal hemmies as of my last scope in February. I could see hemmies being the RESULT of all this straining, but I find it hard to believe that they could cause the muscle spasms that are just killing me (and you, from the similar sounds of it).

The only relief that I find is from hyosycamine sublinguals (really weak muscle relaxer I think), and Imodium.

I have a doc appointment tomorrow where I am going to ask about all these symptoms in relation to the following:

~Gallbladder problems produce similar symptoms, and there's something called a HIDA scan they can use to check your GB functionality.

~Food allergy testing (could cause the immediacy and severity of spasms after eating... and cycles of bad bacteria and reactions coincide with timelines I've tracked in myself over the last 2 years)

~An RX level probiotic. The more research I do, the more I find that studies are showing that these good bacteria really don't survive their journey all the way to our "ends", so there are a few prescription only ones I'm going to ask about. Could be a goose chase, but I figure it's worth asking about.

~72 hour Stool Analysis. Apparently this is one of the most effective ways to figure out what your body IS and IS NOT absorbing. It sounds tedious, but it has to be better than 9 trips to the lu in the morning!

Re: the C-Diff test -
I was tested in January and the sample turned up "negative" for C-Diff. I did NOT however, have to refrigerate the sample. From what I've read, that can cause a mis-read. Did you have to refrigerate your sample for the C-Diff?

All of my previous tests came back negative also. This time I was told to keep it frozen. Evidently the bug starts breaking down if not kept frozen. As your doc about that.
