spotten vision?

Last Cimzia, June 9th... so a full month ago. No other meds.

Yet, I keep "seeing things" out of the corner of my eyes... like little black specks, and there's really nothing there.

I started to think I was losing my mind, but I'm really convinced that something is wonky here.

I've had D, bad D, for several days... I'm probably a bit dehydrated. I've just never experienced these little blobs in my peripheral vision before.

Any ideas? Just a side effect of dehydration?

I would get that checked out. I actually went for my annual eye exam today, and the doc saw something funny with my optic nerve. Said it was tilted and it could be inflammation or calcium deposits.

I have to go back next week for more tests. He said it could be nothing, but to let him know if I experience any vision changes - especially with peripheral vision.

I don't know if it is Crohn's related or not - I've also heard of people getting cataracts if they've been on prednisone for a long time.

Do get it checked sence this is obviously the first time you have had this but google "floaters". Generally as you get older you will get floaters-it is part of the vir (or I can't spell it) tissue in your eye that breaks away from where it is supposed to be and floats around and you can see it.
Do get it checked though because the sudden development of it can mean absolutely nothing or it can be a symptom of posterior uvitiis or other occular disease.

Get it checked out, cataracts are common with Crohns patients that have been on Prednisone.

I agree with getting it checked, don't want to mess around when it comes to vision. Does kind of sound like floaters though. Most people have them at some point, a lot of people don't even notice them. But yes, get it checked out!

When I got Uveitis, I started out with floaters and then blurry vision and eye pain, so this could be the beginning of inflammation in your eyes. Do get it check out soon! The sooner the better, the longer you wait the longer it takes to get it to go away!
