Uh oh.

Swine flu hits my work.  Dont like it , it makes me nervous. Am now obsessed with washing my hands, not touching my mouth and freak if someone sneezes near me and they dont use a tissue.

And now I worry about my holidays which I ve worked all year for, one in 3 weeks and one in 6 weeks.  I really really dont need swine flu, crohns is quite enough thanks

Oh no!! Keep doing what you are doing with washing your hands frequently and keeping your hands away from your eyes, nose and mouth. When it was going around alot in the area I live in, I even went so far as to buy some Clorox wipes and would wipe down my desk and the machines we all use around me.

Hope you don't have any problems and are able to go on and enjoy your vacation.

Ive already got some wipes. I have a colleague who to put it nicely is rather unkempt and I wonder about his hygeine. I have been wiping down his desk and phone for weeks without him knowing. He has a bad habit of sneezing all over his desk, disgusting

Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one who did that. We have this air spray in the womens bathroom at work, and it is supposed to kill Aids virus on things, so I figured I would take the spray around every few days and spray all the machines to kill any germs on them. I think it may have kept my office mates a little healthier lately:)

Little will my office mates know, but its more for my benefit than their's! LOL

HI,   I had to laugh reading the replies.  I work in an outpatient imaging center.    Everyday when I come in I get the superwipes (kills everything) and go to town on everything in the room. If my patients sneeze or cough, I do it all again.   I swear I can hold my breath for 30 minutes now....lol.       We are not crazy, just really need to be careful.   During my last resection, they lacerated my spleen and had to remove it.  There went my last bit of defense.     Glad you all understand that, hide my cleaning from co-workers.   Take care, stay germ freee.                    Cathy
