I get that for about
two weeks when I have infusions too. Its kind of like restless legs but I get it in my arms too - a horrible feeling. I also get totally manically hyper - my eyes literally pop out of my head! When I first mentioned it to my GI he said he'd never heard of anyone having a reaction that, but I remember looking it up and I saw it listed as a side-effect - must have had a different factsheet to my doc!!
I find one thing that helps me is a short course of sleeping pills - proper sleep helps the body sort itself out a bit especially if your manic and helps nerve function in the limbs etc and taking magnesium supplements also helps nerves (these I take before bed as can cause diarrhoea so wouldn't want to get caught short during the day) and I avoid all caffeine in those couple of weeks (I'm usually a caffeine junkie lol) as whenever I have caffeine during this period I get uncontrollable leg shakes - happened to me when I was driving on a motorway once after stopping for coffee, it was absolutely terrifying as I was on my own and had no one to drive for me and so was having to steer with one hand and try use the other to try and hold my leg steady over the accelerator as I was stuck in the outside lane in a crawling jam and couldn't get across the traffic to pull in, never chancing that again!
This is one of the reasons I have infliximab episodically, I wouldn't be able to deal with 2 weeks out of every 8 or 12 like that!
