Hi I live in Vancouver B.C. Canada, I have heard that some people in the US can get a Crohn's Card which entitles the holder to use any washroom facilities.  An example is if u need to go but the store u are in has an employee restroom but not one for the public.  The card would be proof that it is an emergency and u really need to use the bathroom.  Does anyone know if there is anything like this in Canada?  Thanks

I dont know about in Canada.  I actually upon reading many posts on the card went searching for information about Oregon and the bathroom card.  All I found was this website http://myibd.org/RestroomMedalert/index.php

 I filled out the information there and should get my card in 2-3 weeks it says.  Maybe there is a site for other countries as well or maybe on that site there is an option for other countries.

Hmm when I click the link I posted it says error but I rechecked the site sorry folks maybe I am getting the address wrong in some little place =(

I found it-I just went to the myibd.org and found the restroom card. I just ordered one. I have one from CCFA somewhere, but I'm not sure where. I stupidly assumed I wouldn't need it again after I was in remission for so long.

This would be sooo useful. I live in Montreal. By chance did you find anymore info on the CD card?

I only ever had the CCFA's 'I Can't Wait Card,' but it doesn't carry any legal obligation. I couldn't renew it either because I couldn't afford the membership.
