just had the worst day ever

I caught a stomach virus and I have been throwing up every hour from 10 am to 10 pm.
I am so tired from all this and it feels like my joints are also not happy about this I can hardly walk.
And also I have crazy D
I talked to a doc in the emergency room and he gave me some pill for the nausea and I feel a little better.

Has anyone else had this ??
I sure hope not but if you do have this they tell me it passes in 24 hours.

Just needed to vent a little I have been so good this summer but as soon as I start school what happens my body does not want to go :P

Not recently but I have had bugs where I throw up constantly and have to go the er for fluids and shots. Feel better!

It's been a long time since I've had something like that. Just take it easy and drink plenty of fluids.

I had horrible food poisoning in april. Threw up for 5 days--was down to 88 lbs. Was good to have someone with me constantly as I was way too weak to clean up the messes and myself. I also needed help getting fluids. Please keep your doc updated as s/he will want to get you help if you become dehydrated. I suggest you take in fluids as much as you can--broth, popsicles, tea, gatorade but check with doc. lollipops were good for me too. Sending healing vibes.

Any time I start puking that's how I get. I just throw up over and over, and it's just bile, nothing left, but I keep throwing up. It's just awful. I actually have a bit of a phobia from it now! I almost always end up in the ER getting an IV because I'm dehydrated, and sometimes SEVERAL round of anti-vomitting meds put in the IV to stop the throwing up. So yes, I relate!

Got food poisening once abroad, thought I would never stop getting sick. I know for me if I get a bug it takes me a long time to get my full health back, but that is just me. I can get a cold and my gut get s affected. Just stick with it go easy with food and make sure you keep electrolytes balanced. Lots of fluids and remember with us lot bad bacteria is always harder on our systems. Plus lots of Tender Loving Care to yourself very important. Hope you feel better as soon as is possible. Big Hugs
