Cscope yesterday

well i was suppossed to have my cscope and balloon dilation wednesday.. had to scope , but not the balloon. dr said the steroids had loosened the stricture enough . he got all the way through using a pediatric scope.  took biopsies of course, and im kinda sore. he must have really pushed around in there, cause i can sure feel it this time.  yeah

I can only imagine how sore you are. I love my GI, but his scope skills suck. Last time he did my scope I got HUGE hemmoroids that hurt like heck and the worst cramps for about 3 days. Sad part of it all was because of adhesions causing the left side of my colon to adher to my body cavity, he didn't get very far. Hope your stricture stays gone, thats something you definetly do not need.

Sorry your had to go through that my old friend but maybe not having to have the balloon is a good sign. Hope the fever thing goes away as well. After all ,I am sure you are tired of your wife using you to warm the oven on Turkey day..Just say DING when it hits 350....

I've had the balloon...be glad they didn't do it...stinks! Sorry your sore today. That's no fun. Sometimes scopes really bother me other times they don't. I think the more pain killers the better!!!!!
Randy..you still running a fever? haven't been on in awhile...missed whether or not you were done with all that. Did they find out why such a high fever? infection?

looked ok after he past the rectum and the turn at the sigmoid .. thats where the narrowing is/was. the last part has been like hamburger for a long time. im sure thats where the fevers come from . but i KNOW therer is something higher up between my anastamosis and the stomach. thats the main area of sound and movement.. it may just be because everything is stuck to the front wall of my abdomen. weve known that for years.
