Yep - diagnosed almost two years ago now. I go on Potassium Iodide for my flares - few and far between now. I had it so bad my ankles were swollen for two months and it was very painful/difficult to walk. Because of all my prednisone usage, my doctors didn't want to add more predinsone to it to try and get it under control, plus it takes me FOREVER to get off prednisone - so they did the SSKI. It works wonders! Now, when I notice a flare coming on, I simply take a weeks worth - and the bumps are gone (marks still present - bruised!) - The dosage is 0.9ml daily - normally done in either two or three divided doses in 4-6 ounces of juice or water. It's not pleasant tasting, but it's worth it.
Good luck with it. I hope you get it under control soon.
