I feel sooo crappy! I'm freezing cold (no temp, body temp is 96.4), I ache all over, I'm nauseaous and vomiting, I'm getting shocking pains all over my back, my belly hurts and I keep going to the bathroom at least once or twice every hour. (Then add to it that I'm trying to dry up my breastmilk, ouch!) I'm tired of this. I hate it... :(

Hi Sgirl, sorry to hear your not feeling well hope you soon feel better. As for drying up breast milk i really sympathise with you it hurts like hell i used to get in a hot bath and dangle them in there to draw the milk out (sorry to all you men out there!!TMI) hoping that too will soon end for you Bev x

I would be wondering about the prednisone taper. Depending on how long you have been on it you may have to go down even slower. If this continues you might want to call your doctor. I would be on the flu boat too except for the temp, but who knows. Either way, I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone. It's not the flu, dr thinks it's all prednisone and flare related. I've been on 20 mg of prednisone since Feb last year, I started tapering off the end of October and just started 5 mg about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
