Hi,

I have a 12 year history with Crohns.  about 2 years ago I got really sick with an obstruction-fever, vomiting, pain, etc.  I was admitted to the hospital and it cleared up on its own.  For the past week, I have had some odd stomach sensations.  It has hard to explain but has an empty feeling with a lot of grumbling.  I have also had diarrhea.

My question is could this be an obstruction or would my symptoms mimic the first one that I had.  I have no fever, no vomiting, etc.  I do feel nauseus however, but that could be from being afraid to eat and my stomach needs food.  I have a major fear of hospitals and that is my biggest fear. 

Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ryan when i had strictures in the small bowel 9 but didn't know that at the time) i would get a fever, vomiting, really bad cramping but no D within 24 hours it would go and then the D would come along with deyhdration I would gt this about twice a year it eventually got worse and i started getting really loud noises and cramping after eating. not sure whats going on with you at the moment but like you say it maybe because your not eating enough. just keep an eye on it and if it keeps happening often see your doc sorry can't be of more help Bev x

Sounds to me like it could possibly be some acid reflux going on. I would suggest contacting your doctor about this. Good luck!

No acid reflux/gerd is not serious and yes many with Crohns develop it. I take Prilosec to help mine.
