I'm currently attending nursing school at Walsh University in North Canton, Oh. Its been a lonnngggg road due to my Crohns. I've had to stop for a resection, only to have crohn's reappear 6 months later. I also can't take a heavy course load because my crohn's hates when I stress! I've been in school for 6 years now! Wow! The dean of the nursing program has been so great. She's worked with me so well through all of this. Today I found out that the nursing program is taking into consideration those students that deal with diseases like Crohns. I guess they're working on course loads are more friendly towards those of us who get exhausted easily! I was touched! I feel like a made a small difference! :)

Congrats. And keep up the good work. We need more professionals in the medicine field that can truly understand what it is like to have a disease.
