What is having an obstruction like?

U will know when u have an obstruction they r very painful and yes u feel full all the time cause the stool isn't being pushed through your body so its only logical that u feel full once the obstruction moves through u will start 2 feel normal again,,I had 2 many 2 count so is this your first one,,Did u have any test done like a colonoscopy 2 c the inside and c if there is any narrowing some times u can c them on a regular stomach x ray it just depends on how and what kind of an obstruction u have the stomach series will show that there is one but the scope shows what is causing it like your disease its self or it could b adhesions (Scare Tissue) or it could b mechanical so the scope is helpful that way to determine which type,,,I'll pray 4 ya they r one of the worse things u can have next 2 fistulas E.T.C everything is painful with this disease who am I trying 2 fool....Best Of Luck 2 Ya Jenn,,,Keep Us Posted...

I've had too many obstructions to count, and the pain is incredible. I've also had 30 hours of labor followed by an emergency C-section where I almost died. I'll take the labor and C-section. The pain meds work way better for that type of pain and as Nanners said at the end you get a BABY instead of a poop.
