Hiccups in the middle of the night while sleeping...anyone?

Odd but true! I have been getting hiccups at night while sleeping. Of course I wake up and sleep through every break in the hiccup, but sheesh, what is this all about? Has anyone else had this? Is this an excess of gas or something?

It could be gas but I've been awakened by hiccups when I had acid reflux. Hope you get it cleared up soon, that can drive a body nuts.
