Stem cells to cure Crohns?

Hi you guys    was watching T V the othernite  they were talking about  Adult stemcell  therapy they have already cured one or more with blindness  and they said that many more diseases could be cured using this proceedure saying that CROHNS could be a thing of the past   that would be something to shout about and that is using yourown stemcells i wonder how you can reserch this ( I NOT VERY COMP LIT) any of you seen anything about this   It was on U K tv they can certainly have some of my stemcells   What do you think about this   Teddy boy

what is the logic behind this?

I was all signed up to be a guinea pig for the stem cell research but when they did the scope they found pre-cancer cells and kicked me out of the study.

I was at a university research hospital and no meds would work on me.

Ended up with an ileostomy and feeling better than I have in years. Just spent a week x country skiing in the mountains and feel grateful for the opportunity.

I believe stem cell research is the most likely field of research that will lead to a cure for crohn's. First off they use your own cells nobody elses. The idea I believe for us would be to use stem cells to grow new intestines. Wouldn't that be great! I know heart muscle has been grown sucessfully and terminal 'n" stage parkinson's disease (brain cells) totally reversed sucessfuly for 5 years. Unfortunately research takes time and money. I've heard over 50 diseases are being researched.

I dont think that brand new intestines solve the problem... just fix it for some time (like resections)

Ok, Let me clarify all this for you all.
Stem Cells That are injected from OUR spinal fluid after a TOTAL IMMUNE System Reboot.
What does that mean? Intense Chemotherapy... Wipes out our immune system.

Out Deprived Stem cells, Injected after harvested from spinal fluid. Stem cells Mass produce.. Build a new immune system.

New immune system says "what the Heck is this in my intestines..." "I must remove it"
The new immune system never Knew the Crohn's or Colitis or Infectious disease EVER EXISTED. Over months maybe a year. This disease slowly is repaired by the new immune system. New Cells are formed. Crohn's CAN Be a Thing in the past. Or just VERY VERY Acute. Meaning Stem therapy.
Why cant we just get Stem Cells once...
Cus SOME DRUG company wants some type of medication... (figures)

And thats how it works; :-D
