Anyone have pain even when they drink simple water, or yogurt or liquid?

Is this because Of active inflimation or flaring?
Obviously it wouldnt be because of narrowing or your stricture...

I guess moving bowels during a flare when you consume things means active crohns?

when I have a stricturing type of blockage, it takes 2-8 hr's for gas to move thru, until that starts to happen i fast, no fluid or food, i would obstruct if i took anything in, so i wait until gas starts to pass then I start to get better, I've had 2 bowel obstuctions that i had to have surgery on, so i try to aviod that type of emergency surgery at all costs

It depends on the kind of pain you are having. I get e-spasms from anything sometimes...

My doctor told me that drinking or eating anything cold will make your esophagus and intestines have "spasms" sometimes. This can cause the pain you are feeling. Try drinking water at room-temp and see if it helps... Just a suggestion!
