Hi, I'm new here, just found this site. I've done some research on the internet and I'm 99.9% sure that I have a rv fistula. I pass gas and stool through my vagina. And have leakage all the time. I've had it for several years. I've found it really comforting to know that I'm not alone with this. (For years I assumed I was, as I was too embarrassed to talk to anyone about it.)
What have others done for their rv fistula? What works, what doesn't? Can this be fixed w/o doing an ileostomy? I've learned how to live w/it and probably could go on just dealing w/it, but if someone has found a better solution, I would love one.

Never had any surgeries to remove my bowel, and wants to avoid it while I can still live a relatively normal life.
