HUMIRA users ► how long until it started working?

I started HUMIRA over 3 weeks ago, had 2 injections so far at 2 week intervals.  But nothing yet!  grrrrrrr...  I starting to become deiscouraged that its not gonna work or even help a little.  Was wondering how long it took others before the HUMIRA finally kicked in and made them feel better.  Please let me know.  thanks to everyone :)

I just got my first injections on 3/24. Said it could be 6 weeks before it kicks in

really? 6 to 12 weeks? ok, i'll be patient then... btw, is evryone here just giving themselves one (1) 40ml shot every 2 weeks?

mine started to work after 1 week and i was really bad. im taking 1 40ml injection every two weeks.
how does ur body usually respond to medication??
it usually depends on ur body. hope it goes well. im in remmision cause of humira :) hope u have the same affect.

I've been on Humira for about 7 months. It took a couple of months to see a response taking it twice a month. My doc switched me to a weekly dose a few months ago and it has been working great. Sadly though I did have a major flareup with an almost obstruction a couple of weeks ago but I'm on the mend now. I think I flared from a hugely stressful situation in my life. Overall I have had success with it.

weekly dose? really? didn't know docs could prescribe that weekly. actually, is there anywhere we can read about HUMIRA dosages since its used for many different diseases? anyone know. cause i didn't see much at the humira.com site.
