   Sorry, I broke my promise to keep better in touch. I have to make up for that, I suppose...

 Anyway, I see signs of my illness returning. A few weeks ago, I had a persistant Strep infection that would not die despite being hit with multiple anti-biotics, in fighting this, I learned that I am now Anemic. Taking iron now, but obviously something is bleeding AGAIN. And to prove it, I just found an Erythosoma Nodosum nodule on my thigh. Well, that explains the Faux Malaria I've been having ( fevers coming up regularly in the PM.)

    So Mr. Crohn's is active somewhere, but hiding. *Beep*!!! Son of a ....

   Oh, & now I'm unemployed & uninsured. Just for good measure. I love supervisory management that do not DO their jobs, but fire people for THEIR mistakes. There ought to be a Fraking Law!!!mad    Ok, rant over.

Well, although I'm a fairly newer member.. I got a job that promised health-benefits (I'm working for a healthcare company) and once I was brought on board; they dropped their coverage.. Now the company has no benefits policy; so I'm basically screwed there, but have a job.. Granted I was unemployed for seven months until February.

Aw Matthew, you must have heard someone asking about you recently. Can't remember who it was though. Don't you just love this DD? Just when you think it's all good it rears it's fugly head. Take care.

Hey Matthew, someone was looking for you recently, so I bumped the post up for you. Sorry your disease is acting up though. I too am kinda worried myself as have not been feeling so hot lately, but in my case it might just be stress. Hopefully, somehow you can get in to see the doc and maybe, just maybe he will have samples??? Hope you stick around. Hugs!

Yeah, I've been sorta of in denial the last month, since I obviously have a lot of the usual job hunting stress & crap to worry about. Funny isn't it, the only thing worse than a job you actually don't really like is looking for another job!
I had a real battle with the strep too. it may have contributed to the little weasel moving against me when he did. But get this, I got fired for violating policy. But the policy DOESN'T EVEN *EXIST*! How is that for lame? I'm trying to appeal it. And Unemployment is also trying to take Wal-Marts side. Probably to scared to stand up to them. Oh well, I like a challenge.
I was really wondering why I felt so run-down, they even tested me to see if my Mono had reactivated its ugly head. At least I'm free of that disturbing idea. Still the ol' immune system is not up to par lately.
I really worry that it is my perpetual singlehood rearing its ugly head. ironically, Mother natured screwed men over, by planting a time bomb in our hormones. The Dark Side of Testosterone..
Its almost a comfort knowing its my old DD rearing its head, but in a new way. Great, 6 years without a Major Flare, but its attacking in a new way..
As always, your support means A LOT to me, even if I have been ungrateful lately.

Wow... Another old member that has popped up out of nowhere... Welcome back! :D... I'm sorry to hear that you're not doing well... and I hope you don't feel too guilty about not checking in...

I understand how you feel... I've always appreciated the support that this place provides... but I feel ungrateful after a period of not popping in to see how everybody is doing... :(...

Seems like everyone has welcomed us back with open arms, though... so... Maybe we're just being too hard on ourselves... //^_^\\

I think that when we start to feel good, we tend to start living life to it's fullest setting aside the little things but not forgetting them.

I'm sorry to hear that your not feeling well, I hope everything works out for you.

Aw, rats, Matthew. I was hoping you were showing up to tell us you won a Million in the Lotto, your Crohn's was in full remission and the kidney stones had melted to pure liquid.

Sorry you're not feeling so good, and losing your job along with everything else, sucks.

Don't worry about Sniper, he's around, and still keeping us smiling. Thank heavens.

Nah, the symptoms were sneaking up on me before I lost the job. Well, the Anemia was. Just really run down. Actually, being away from there has helped, but I'm starting to get bored. And job hunting DOES suck, especially when I have to stop & explain I lost my last job.
Not a Flare, just some active inflamation somewhere.
I don't like the infection I had either, but maybe it was Strep A, which is a growing problem.
