Yes, that is what my GI recommended based on a suggestion from a top GI in Canada. Sounds funny but has potential to help the duodenum. Has anyone tried this?

I wonder what an enema tastes like?! LOL. It sounds like it would be pretty tough to keep down.

Drinking an enema.  Now I have seen it all.  After I saw the homeless man smoking a cigar in Manhattan the other day I thought I saw it all...but this beats it.

I wanted to think of some witty comment but I am truly confused by this one. It is at this point when you feel your G.I.'s forehead to see if he has a fever and ask him how much he has been drinking today. Does he realize that you can take entocort in the liquid form or pill form by mouth? I know this sound dumb but considering the advice I have to ask it. Let us know how it tastes and if it is like chicken.

I got some more information now for the group.

The kit (I got last night) comes with 7 pills (the Entocort), 7 bottles of deliverable liquid, and gloves. All I have to do is get 100ml of water (or flavored water, etc) and dissolve the pill in it and drink it. The bottles of deliverable liquid I can discard. So to say I have to drink the enema is not quite accurate.

So having said that, and reading dawg's comment above, the 'liquid Entocort....has anyone taken that? and what do you need to know when taking it? ie with food, etc

I am going to take a swig now before breakfast and give it an hour or so, then eat.

update: I just dissolved the pill in some flavored vitamin water, 100ml, and drank it. Never tasted anything different, didn't seem to be a big deal.
