My stomach has been making the loudest noises.. they are very loud. I work at a school and the kids can hear it way across the room. It doesn't hurt, which is a good thing but why does it make these loud noises???? very irritating.....

know how you feel, my stomach is always making noises, so bad one time that folk thought it was the radiator. When i sit on a wooden or plastic chair i need to sit on my hands, particularly awful in church! It could be because your bowel is over active or can be a sign of obstruction, along with other symptoms of course.

I get this too and I have no idea why. It will gurgle loudly several times a day for a couple of weeks, then seems to stop for a while.

Our puppy was laying beside me on the couch one time when it went off. He jumped up and started barking like he was being attacked! I almost died laughing!! :)

lol gray! I get that too, sometimes when it goes off my hubby will ask me was that your stomach or mine? (his makes it when he's really hungry)

I think the normal explanation is gas moving in through the system. Last weekend, I binged on deviled eggs, and my tummy was just so very very noisy (and I don't have crohn's). If you are eating anything that could be gas producing, maybe eliminate that, and see if the noises diminish.

Lately for me a rumble means I better find a bathroom pretty fast.
