Plain bagels, white pasta, plain (though it usually is okay with a little bit of margerine and grated parmasean cheese)...I recently switched to eating rice krispies cereal instead of cheerios...i was taking cheerios all the time for nausaua and I didn't know this whole time it wasn't a low residue food! Silly me! A handful of the rice krispies helps if I'm nauseous. Saltines work too.

Terry73 My gi said no seeds, nuts or whole corn as they get stuck in lesions and get infected and swell causing lots of trouble. I'd recommend you try this. Unfortunately it includes sesame seeds on hamburgers. It took me awhile to figure sesame seeds out.

I saw Dr mark Hyman and followed his diet to a "T". Basically on a detox diet to clean out all the toxins and to be on an anti-imflamatory diet. No caffeine, alcohol, gluten, dairy, sugar, processed foods, chocolate. My diet was pure--anti-inflmatory shake in the mornings with many supplements, brown rice and steamed veggies for lunch, same for dinner but with 4-6 oz of protein. I could also eat sweet potatoes. I went out of my mind because I love to eat, drink, and drink coffee. At some point when I started to add foods in to see what bothered be, I added in SMOOTH cashew butter.
I have never felt so good - pre and post crohns - I had so much energy, dropped 10 pounds and since I felt so good, I was running 5-6 days/week. Of course my mood was great and so was my crohns.
He is very expensive but I've learned so much about
what to put into my body and what to do to feel great.
Trying desperately to get back on the diet.....
