What sulfasalizine dosage do you take/max

what is the max dosage, and what do you take?

I take 2g a day. So 4, 500mg pills twice a day. I think the max is 3 but some go higher.

None, that stuff made me ghastly ill, I cannot tolerate the Sulfa component after a few days. Man, that still gives me the chills just thinking about it..
