For those who give themselves b12 injection- where is the best spot to give them?  I always did my Humira on the stomach but not sure about where to do these?

Hi i do mine in arms
have no issues with it
not in veins of course but in the tissue of arms it doesnt hurt imho or musclit can also be done in your derriere

My doctor used to give them to me, always in the arm. My sister, a nurse, taught my husband how to give them to me, also in the arm. I can't imagine that they couldn't go into the leg or butt either. They are just IM so any fleshy part would work.

I get my b12 injections cause of pernicous anemia from my nurse and she always gives to me in my arm.

or btw I had a nurse give them to my hip a few times she said they absorb better.

I put mine in the upper thigh. To me that's the easiest site. I have no problems with them going there, no pain, and
you can sit down to do it :) I have mine weekly, as my levels still keep going down...

I've been trained to do mine in my side after I take a shower.
I like the idea of sitting down and injecting in the hip or thigh.

Our son's doctor used to prescribe them for him. (He has autism and b12 injections have supposedly helped many ASD kids, but not ours.) Here is a link to his VERY SPECIFIC directions on how to administer the shots.

I just started mine a few weeks ago. I have to do it montly. The upper thigh works great when you have to do it on yourself. Just squeeze your skin... best in the fatty part!
