Hi there...I have this myself - in 2 different forms - lucky me! :) Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome and Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia. I practically grew up in the hospital until they offered me the ablation procedure for the WPW. It wasn't bad at all, and over before you know it. It's a really fast procedure, only about 45 mins-1 hour. I actually splept through the last 30 mins of it, cause it makes you tired, LOL.
It's your choice if they offer it, but coming from someone who had it done for the WPW, but now can't have it done for the IST (mine is not ablatable) don't be afraid to choose it if you feel it is best for you.
I know it is REALLY scary to be in the hospital for heart trouble (I was there last summer for 10 days for the IST) but rest assured, you are in the right place. They know what they are doing and you will be okay.
My thoughts are with you. Hang in there, it'll be okay. Hugs!
