I went online and ordered refills for hubby and myself the same day. 01 Jun 10 SUPPOSEDLY both his order and mine were shipped out at the same time. One of my refills wasn't shipped until 02 Jun 10 because I ordered it a day earlier than they allow. So they pay two shipping charges, right? And we are set up as a "joint account", i.e. I can order his meds, check his script
s, etc. and he can order and check mine. BUT they won't ship his order and mine in the same shipment. So that's actually 3 shipping charges. So our CC has been charged for his script
s and my two script
s - BUT - I haven't received one of my script
s!!! I'm down to tomorrow's dose and then I'm out. I checked online to see if and when it had been shipped and find all the above out.
So I call them. And go thru all the BS messages and number pressing and FINALLY get a human being!!! My call is important to them. Yeah, uh huh. After some checking they determined, yes, it was shipped out on the first. Duh. That's what their website says too. BUT - I haven't received it. So thru the generosity of their great hearts they will send me another shipment. It will take about 5 days to get here. My account will be charged for this second refill too. If I haven't received both shipments w/in 30 days, call and they will credit one of the charges off my CC. How generous of them!!!
Meanwhile, I have tomorrow's dose ONLY left, what the heck do I do for the next five days? Well, they wouldn't want me to go w/o my med so I should call my doctor and ask that he script me a 14 day supply to my local pharmacy. So I can pay yet another copay. Just exactly what I want to do.
I may pay one heck of a whole lot more at my local pharmacy, thanks to Medco. But at least its never taken more than ONE day on a RARE occasion to get a script filled (small town office) and if it is a CRITICAL med (happened to one of my neighbor's) they will send some one to the other office to get the med and then DELIVER it directly the same day.
Medco won't even overnight this refill they've screwed up and lost the first time around.
