Got my surgery date

Well I got my surgery date to remove the kidney mass.  It will be on July 6th.  They are going to try to do it via laprascope, but I am so worried they will have problems with adhesions due to already having 5 abdominal surgeries.  Keep me in your prayers please that they are able to do it laproscopically.  If it has to be converted to an open surgery, I will be out for up to 3 months.  If its done laproscopically I will only be out 2-4 weeks.  I just worry because I am supposed to have my knee replacement in late Sept, early October and I really want it done as my knee hurts so much and walking is miserable.  So prayers/good thoughts greatly appreciated.  Hugs!

Dear Nanners

I wish you the best for your surgery. If they know about the adhesions and still think they can do it laparoscopically you will probably be all right. whatever happens you have to give yourself time to heal.

I know how much you contribute to this forum you are very much appreciated. Many people will be thinking of you on your surgery day you are not alone.

I am so glad you have your date and of course you are in my prayers. You give so much to everyone here in HealingWell and you are truly an inspriation to all of us as you face 2 surgeries so close together.

Good luck, Nanners!

Hope you get the laproscopic surgery and, thusly, the knee surgery done on schedule. Not being able to walk without pain sounds miserable, so I do hope that is fixed for you. I feel lucky that I don't get joint pains with my Crohn's... :-/
