You can get a free medical card if you go to www.myibd.org that says you have a medical condition. I had the same problem at Target 2 months ago luckily my best friend was with me so she went to the other end of the mall and pulled it up to the front of Target when I felt I was able to run out to make it home I did. Luckily I live about 5min away if that from Target/Mall. Glad you had support with you sounds like a great kid!

I try to carry a small bottle of alcohol bases hand cleaner just to clean the seat if I have the time. people can be worse than pigs.

I guess that's why some us don't go out much in public, when Iam delivering my work to lets sa L.A. area where I know you can not find a frieking bathroom to save your life. I can only say this in this forum. I keep a 2 plastic shopping bags in my truck (in case 1 leaks) and if i get those bad urges that say go now or you will s..t yourself, I pull off usually on freeway and go in a bag, my bile or poop doesn't stink because i eat papaya's so it's not the smell thing, I guess it's the idea of the whole thing. I have really bad complex about public bathrooms, I've been hummiliated so many times in public that i really am super sensative about this issue. not as bad since eating papaya's, at least I'm not stinking people out, just the explosions are terriable. people just bail out of the br. when they hear that noise, because they think for sure the smell is next. the joys of cd, the stories we could tell. I've had cd for 40 years so I have 40 years worth of br stories. we all do

I have so been there - yes, mostly at WalMart for some reason.  My daughter loves to stroll up and down the toy asile.  Sadly at a very young age she learned when mommy says "I have to go to the bathroom", you put down the toy and go, no questions, no wanting to stay behind, you just go and then come back when mommy's done. 

One time they were remodeling the bathrooms which were at the back fo the store.  Once I got there in my panic mode I saw the sign that the bathrooms were closed and that there were port-a-johns outside at the front of  the store.  I almost did not make it to the front of the store and then eveyone in the parking lot gets to see you go into the bathroom!

I know where every bathroom - clean and not clean - is within at least a 2 hour radius of my house and on any road trips to visit family members.  It's the first thing I locate when I go into a place.  Who cares if you can find the exit in a fire - I want to find the bathroom!
