If I have been in the same position for a while such as sitting or lying down, when I get up to walk, the joints in my knees and ankles are very stiff. I have to walk slower until they loosen up, maybe 6-7 steps before I feel like I'm walking normally. It's not really painful, and I'm not experiencing any swelling, or heat in them, just the stiffness. Yeah, I'm getting older, 43, but I don't think I should be feeling this old yet! Even the hubby commented that I look like a little old lady hobbling along until I 'hit my stride'.
Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. When I mention it to my Doc, he just says painful joints are part of crohn's, but it's not painful, just stiff.
