Okay, you all know I'm having issues with the center of my stomach area and it also radiates to the left abdoman directly below the bottom of the left ribcage. The pain is intensifying and I keep vomiting. No blood just more and more vomiting. I'm taking the phenergan, and trying to keep light liquids (water, popsicles, iced sweet tea) and chocolate Ensure (only one I can stand) down. I'm trying to stay hydrated but I've been vomiting continually since about
8pm last night.
I honestly don't know what I should do. I can't get in to see my primary doc and my appointment to see the GI isn't until Sept. 14. I don't want to go to an ER and end up hospitalized again for the potassium issues.
I feel a bit hopeless and I'm pretty weak. Not scary at this time but exhausted. Every time I try to even sleep (and I'm doing everything I can to comfort my body) the pain flares more or I notice it more when I'm still. I'm still able to have BMs but I'm kinda lost. I have some prednisone, do I take it and then when I see the GI, the inflammation's all gone and ta-da, nothing's wrong with me.
I suppose I'm just scared. Same old blasted problem that all the hospital GIs said was a mild Crohns flare but they can't actually see the area that's the problem. What should I do? I call my primary and he's going to give me phenergan even though I'm vomiting it up after twenty minutes. Golly I'm tired. Sorry if I'm rambling but I haven't slept since Thursday morning. I suppose I'm begging you all for "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO???" I know you've all heard it before but I'm just lost and don't know what to do. I'm even having problems with my hands, shoulders and back so much that I'm barely able to type coherently. So I must apologize for all the evil lil typo demons who keep stepping on my fingers at the wrong time.
Please folks, help me deal with this by just being here...and anyone tell me what I should do.
