My oldest daughter Lisa, who just gave me a new grandbaby less than 4 weeks ago, suffered a seizure yesterday, cracked her head open and cracked her tailbone.  If you will remember, she had preeclampsia during her pregnancy and spent the last 5 weeks of her pregnancy in the hospital.  Well she was given blood pressure medication to take after the baby was born, and of course she thought since she had the baby it would go right back down, so she didn't take the medication.  Well it didn't, and when they took her BP after 911 was called it was 155/110, which in turned caused the seizure.

Please keep her in your prayers please.  I am worried sick! She is in Iowa and I am in California.  I can't go be with her as I am still struggling with recovering from my kidney surgery.  My exhusband is back there with her, and couldn't even have the courtesy to call her sister who lives near me to update me.  I am so upset right now, and its no wonder we divorced.  (Ok vent over!!)  Anyways, please keep her in your prayers, its greatly appreciated.

I am so sorry to read about your daughter having a seizure and hurting herself.  I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.  Please keep us posted.

I am so sorry.  I know first hand what it's like to have a daughter in a medical crisis and not be able to be by her side.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Hope she gets well soon. (((Hugs)))

Thanks again for all your well wishes. She has a doctor appt today, so I hope to hear more soon. She also has to have an MRI done (why didn't they do that in the ER???). So as soon as I hear more, I will update you all. Hugs!

Gosh, Nanners, I hope your daughter is feeling better AND TAKING THE BP MEDS. Pre-eclampsia is so scary. I guess now she's past the "pre-" and into "toxemia." How's the baby doing?

I am adding you and your daughter to my prayer list. I hope the stress doesn't get you down. I just sent my second son off to boot camp, and was pretty down about it.....then I read this. I feel so bad for you because when its our kids going through something, we just feel so helpless. I hope your daughter and grandbaby are all good soon.
