Greenish BM's and Brusing on my right side....PLEASE HELP! ER?

Hello everyone,  I am having greenish BM's this morning and woke up to a dark bruise that is about three inches on my right side.  I am not having any pain, I am concerned about the brusing because if I just had the green BM I wouldn't think much of it.

Has anyone else had this?  It is a sign I need to go to the ER?

I would say yes. If you haven't knocked yourself, it needs checking out... Good luck!

I agree. If you don't recall doing anything to cause that bruise, it definitely needs to be checked out. Given it's a saturday, I say go to ER.

I don't think the greenish stool is anything to worry about. Its more than likely from something you ate or drank. I drink a pinkish color Gatorade and it always changes my poop color to a wierd green color. As for the bruise, if its not painful, it could just be something you bumped into. I personally would just keep an eye on it and if you start having more symptoms, then I would go to the ER. JMHO

Thank you for the comments:) I ended up calling the doctor and after talking with him we are going to wait it out. He thinks it is a flare and can be taken under control without going to the ER unless I develope a fever or worse BM's.

I went of of the endocort and immuran and he is having me start them again. Also, I am on bedrest until at least Wed or Thurs.

I didn't bump myself, so I figure the bruising is from a bloodvessel bursing and yes more concerned about the BM's.

I get greenish-yellowish BM's all the time. I think I read that colazal can turn the bm's a yellowish color. That's close enough for me. I am constantly flaring these days.

Green is the color of bile, so green bm often means that the stool did not spend enough time in the bowel to digest the bile. My infant daughter had bright green poop about half the time!
