I was wanting to go to the book fair today, but I feel ambivalent about it now. I'm just likely to spend money on books I don't really want, that will clutter up my newly-cleared bookshelves with a whole lot of dusty tomes. And it'll involve a lot of walking and standing, on a weekend when I'm pretty limpy and unwell anyway.

I may still go, just for the pleasure of it, but won't feel too disappointed if I don't. It's a longish drive in bad weather, anyway. And my gut hurts :-(.


tlcs:

* make vegetable muffins so I have a healthy snack in the house?
* tlc for feet?
* do some craft / sewing?
* do some accounts / paperwork?
* do some movement / exercise / stretching (done some already)
* read
* drink water
* snuggle up and watch a movie?


And try to:

* change water in vases
* do a bit of dusting / tidying


How's your arm now, Choc?

Choc, I'm browsing job ads online (for no real reason) and came across this:

In some ways it sounds quite similar to what you're doing for your Mum already, with the additional benefit of horses thrown in. This job calls for a couple, but might this sort of job be worth exploring, since you're thinking of finding a way to live independently?

* changed water in one vase
* lots of little spells gardening, tidying and cleaning
* spent time in the sun
* did some exercise / movement, though gently and in short intervals
* finished Christmas gift, started yet another
* rang someone
* drank water
* felt very glad not to have gone to the book fair

Argh...my sleep schedule is so off. I didn't sleep last night because I slept most of yesterday.

Anyway, since I'm up, I'm going to try to get some stuff done.

*move some mulch, maybe go buy a couple bags to fill in the back beds so they look better
*bag limbs in back from tree that was pruned
*pick up B12 at walmart, and pick up some cleaning supplies I'm running low on

That's all I'm going to try to get done, but I'll feel good if I get it all done.

I've gotten some things done, now I'm off to take a shower. While moving mulch a HUGE worm crawled out, which I promptly killed with metal rake. It slithered away in a few pieces, which grossed me out. This caused me to abort yard work for now. I'm still creeped out from it slithering around in pieces. YUK!!!

*bagged limbs in back yard-done!!!
*move some mulch-some, but not all due to "worm situation"

After showering I'll head to Walmart!

Only TLC for today is drive to my aunt's. It'll involve the M25 motorway again, but not for as long. I'm kind of tired, but not so tired I can't drive safely. (I hope... >.>) My aunt has two new cats, which I'm dying to see... >_>

Actually I do have one more TLC: reply to a couple of PMs when I get back home. I was going to do that before I went to my aunt's but it's getting late now and I should leave soon. It's so annoying that even as few as 2-3 posts take me such a long time to write... >_<. (Might help if I made them shorter... :-/)

@monkiray - The worm sounds like a creature from a horror film. Think that would have creeped me out too. Enjoy Walmart :p

Phew you guys appear to have achieved quite a bit today between you, I've just returned in after venturing out for the first time in about three weeks!!! I don't count going to hospital appts !!!
There was a local community event where I live today on both sides of the river, extreme water skiing, a fun fair, circus act, bands playing etc etc along with my lovely dog,coco.

It was nice to get some fresh air and nice to meet new people.

It's really nice being on here, enjoy the rest of your day peps, ttfn x
