I am more patient when it comes to people and waiting. My doctors taught me that they cant be on time so lots of time has gone by in the waiting rooms.
I am more relaxed about
me, as in if I don't feel up to do something I don't do it.
I get to spend more quality time with my family since I don't have job any more.
I try to use my spare energy to do good, like volunteer for the red cross with my dog Charly.
I am finally starting to be interested about
food since I can't eat anything so I have started to cook.
I take better care of my money.
I have been able to help other people suffering form the same disease.
I work more with myself like working out, relaxing and so on.
I have more time with my dogs, that I love and they love me, sometimes I can't take them out for there walks but thats ok they get to share the bed with me instead.
The list goes on an on of course it has it downsides too but if I try to look at the positive things they are plenty.
You just have to stay positive ;)
Oh and just like imissicecream I was/am a perfectionist but that has pretty much gone downhill since begin diagnosed, I still do my best but I dont beat myself up about
it if I cant.
