good to have a chuckle shelly - bet the organisers at celtic manor aren't smiling today though - looks like it has turned into a bit of a flood. I commented to a golfing mate who was going down to watch that rain in Newport was more predicatble than an earthquake in Christchurch ;P His answer is unprintable!!! I too tried playing golf but found it just ruined a nice walk ...
Very pleased to hear you are having good results with the vancomycin - fingers crossed it will be a sustained improvment. I am quite interested in this baterial overgrowth thing and really think the FODMAP way of eating may help reduce this issue - at the very least it sure can't hurt.
I have been very good this week but last night had some hidden garlic when we were out and have bloated up this morning for the first time since I started FODMAP. I am pretty sure it was garlic as I can taste it today in my mouth. No DD though so hopefully it will settle down today if I am careful.
I am finding it very easy to stick to FODMAP as well but like I said am still having small amount of milk in tea/coffee. No sane person would get between me and my coffee. In fact in another earthquake I would grab my coffee machine first ;P It is OK as kids know this and understand ;)
keep us posted on your vancomycin progess - will keep a look out
