Had first colonoscopy since resection last May. Conscious sedation which means I got to see a lot and was able to talk to my GI immediately after. Best results from any colonoscopy I have had. No inflammation or active Crohn's at this time. Will see him in his office in 6 months.

Does this mean you have no Crohn's symptoms as well?

Nice Cup of Tea, I've never really had Crohn's symptoms. I had occasional vomitting with bowel movements and narrow stools before my surgery which led me to get my first colonoscopy and diagnosis. Even with severe stricture I did not have any abdominal pain. Never have D. I am thankful every day that I feel so good, they found the stricture when they did and that things have turned out well so far.

Congrats! Sounds just like my symptoms. I had a resection this past June. Sad though because I think I'm starting to have some abdominal pain/flare. Should hear some test results today that will let me know if all this is in my head or not.

I guess you could say that was pretty lucky. Are you still on the methotrexate?

I swear if I ever get a completely clean scope and I'm doing well, and I'm on a med at that time, I will stay on that med forever.

Yes I am still on Methotrexate but I do question whether I have to stay on it?  Thankfully I don't have to think of anything stronger at this time which would have been the case if they found any inflammation. Will see my GI in 6 months and probably just keep going like this as long as it works and no side effects.
