HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BECKY!!! I know your day has been sorely disrupted with appointments and operation preparations, but I hope you can have a joyous day anyway. I'm sending you lots of good thoughts and good wishes
7.30 pm
* put away stuff from solicitors - yes
* reply to solicitor - yes
* write to lady re solicitor - yes
* write to friend re solicitor - yes
* phone water company - yes
* make a list of phone calls to make (and start them?) so I don't lose touch with friends - no
* half an hour of church reading - no
* go to nursery again!! - yes
* exercise - yes. Went for a bush walk. Got lost thanks to stupidly signposted track (one post, with unlabelled arrows pointing in multiple directions), that made me think the rangers' vehicle access track was the walking track... and guess what, it wasn't. The 30 minute "easy" walk turned into a 60+ minute hard slog, culminating in a desperate trek up a steep hill in the hope of being able to see, and find my way back to, the main road... and then another steep uphill slog to get to the car park. I'm STILL puffed, and am achy and exhausted now: steep hills + longer than anticipated treks + fibromyalgia = a bad combination. On the plus side, I saw lots of nice birds and cute cygnets, and a large group of cranky kangaroos (scary, actually: I think they were thinking about
kicking me).
* change clock battery - nup
* watch video and iron? - nope
* make bed - yep
* catch up on dishes - nope, but I've done about
two thirds of them
* tidying - done some
I'm tired: think I might go and curl up in bed and bake my aches with the electric blanket.
'night, all. And happy birthday and good luck again, Becky.
Ivy (still cranky about
the signposting).
