I had Remicade today for the first time in a while. The benadryl made me groggy. I tried to read but kept falling asleep. My veins kept collapsing. I am hoping that itbwill help with the Crohn;s Disease.

The bendaryl knocks me out quickly, so I don't even bother bringing a book or anything with me. Sorry that you had trouble with your veins. Mine are so bad that I had a port put in back in August.

I hope you get a quick remission from the remicade.

good luck!  my next infuson is next week.  remicade is definitely not the miracle drug for me i had hoped i would be...oh well we'll keep trying.

My 1st time with Remicade will be this Wed. the 10th. I guess I will report back in.

Expecting my first treatment in the next couple of days. I've been in the hospital since Wednesday last and my arms are shot. I have one line in now and maybe they can use that. If I have a good result I may have to consider a port.
I'm wishing you a great result on Remicade and that your infusions get easier over time.

Did the Remicade thing today. No problems with the infusion except that after a week in hospital with IVs running my arm is bruised and very swollen. Hoping it will resolve in the next few days.

Hoping you the best with remicade. It worked wonders in the beginning  for me but tapered off and then all of a sudden it started to do its job again. Kinda of confused, but I will figure it out :)

I had my third infusion yesterday, feeling a bit groggy, but since the second infusion I stopped bleeding and started eating ALMOST everything again, some foods still off limits such as cheese, butter..refined products

Had my first dose 2day. Rather uneventful. Took the crossword and worked on it. about 2 and half hours, then left. So uneventful is a good thing. Nest dose in 2 weeks.
