I have a 9 year old son with crohns on asacol and prevacid. He is doing well and has occasional episodes that keep him out of school. My family has crohn history. Strangely my husband has been diagnosed with auto-immune thrombocyt
openia dn neutr
openia, with joint pain, fatigue and mouth ulcers. He has "episodes" too and both father and son have very similar red watery eyes, increased fatigue and joint pain,s they describe as deep muscle aches. My husband doesn't have GI symptoms, my sone doesn't have blood symptoms. Any idea, could they be related? Noone has any idea what kind of autoimmune disease my husband has. We don't even know where to go for help. Should we try a geneticist or rheumatologist?
Thanks
