I have Crohn's related arthritis and it originally started as joint pain and swollen joints in my hands about
6 or 7 years ago (before they dx'ed my Crohn's). Over the years, it has progressed to my whole body and I walk with a cane some of the time (and I'm 29). I would definitely suggest seeing a rheumatologist. Yes, so many of the arthritis meds can make the Crohn's symptoms worse. Between that and having almost everything elevate my liver enzymes, it has been very difficult to treat my arthritis and we are down to one option, that my GI hasn't allowed yet (but I'm working on him!). But, if Humira is helping with your arthritis, that's great. It is used for RA as well, so it does help many people with arthritis. But, it doesn't help enough with mine (neither does Cimzia and I failed Remicade previously).
