Diet of Saltines and Ginger Ale

Started Prednisone Monday night for the sores in my mouth.  I always have to take steroids with milk and dairy because it will come right back up if I don't.  Instead of it happening right after I take the medicine, its hitting me between 4-6 in the afternoon.  I eat dairy in the morning when I take two pills along with a glass of milk and I am fine....until I eat again.  I tried eating soup for lunch tuesday and wednesday, but that did not last long.  Today I wasn't going to eat anything until dinner time, I figured that if I got past the 4-6 pm hump I would be fine.  Boy was I wrong.  I ate 3 Mike and Ikes and sure enough I keep running to the bathroom.  I have never had this issue last this long before, or have it take so long into the day to bother me.....and ideas?

 

Pred makes me nauseaous if I do not take it with milk, and it has the past couple of times I have been on it. If it makes me nauseaous, its usually right after I take the pills...but not this time, its like hours later, between the hours of 4 and 6. Mike and Ike is a chewy sugary candy..they are sitting next to my bed looking delicious, espically when I haven't eaten in three days. Bad decision on my part though :(
