Imuran Vs. Remicade?

So, I was told today that I really only have two options at this point, I can have another go 'round with Imuran or I can start Remicade. Honestly, I can't afford the Remicade treatments and with the Imuran, I'm scared that I might flare up while I'm waiting for it to take affect.. what's a girl to do?

Are there any other treatments that any one is aware of that I can look in to other then Remicade?

I am 24 years old and was diagnosed with pan-colitis almost 6 years ago, they have always said and thought it was uc, but can you tell me why they changed your diagnosis? that is sort of scary.

I too cannot tolerate prednisone, which is what they are always pushing, and I am unfortunately taking 10 mg of it, plus lialda, entocort, and I am supposed to start taking imuran very soon... one of those last resort things. the only other treatment I can think of is surgery and a few natural fixes that have always failed me. sorry I can be of no help for that but since we are so close in age I am interested to know more about your case and what you have tried and so on.
