Humira Side Effect?

I was wondering if anyone knows if humira can cause me to break out? I have never really had acne or anything, maybe an occasional pimple during PMS or if I forget to take my make up off before bed. This week, I broke out like crazy! I have probably 8-10 pimples all along my chin. It is close to PMS time, but I have never broken out like this so I am wondering if it is a side effect of humira or not.

Anyone experience something similar?

I was breaking out more frequently for a while and thought it might be the Humira, but it ended up going away, so I don't know if it was caused by something else or just a temporary side effect from Humira.

Yes! This happened to me about 4 months after I started Humira, taking one shot every week. It kept getting worse, even getting zits all over my scalp and my chest. I stopped taking Humira about 2 months ago and my skin has mostly cleared up.

I had this problem with Remicade, too. My doctors said there was no way Remicade caused acne, but I think my skin is just sensitive and reacts to those drugs badly. I haven't talked to my doctor since I went of the Humira- bad, I know, but I feel pretty stuck because I will not go on either of those drugs again and have terrible and painful skin!

I had an outbreak of acne on my back for about 3-4 months after starting Humira, then it went away. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not...

I never had acne with Humira, but it DID cause me to develop Psoriasis.

I broke out horribly after being on humira for almost a year. Saw my dermatologist and got a slightly different skincare routine. Plus had all the yucks cleaned There. All cleared up now. Also have recently been treated for very low iron and wonder if that has anything to do with my skin staying virtually clear again. I also have not had any angular chelitis since the first iron infusion...
